RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
RETURN POLICY
Mercantile Instinct offers exchange or store credit (NO REFUNDS) on regular-priced (i.e. not on sale / discounted) merchandise returned to us within 14 days of purchase. All original tags, packaging and a valid receipt must be returned, intact, with the merchandise.
ORDERS SHIPPING TO DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA ARE FINAL SALE
RETURN SHIPPING
North American customers (international orders are final sale) are responsible for any exchange-related shipping costs, both to and from Mercantile Instinct. Mercantile Instinct will not accept returns shipped to us without authorization. Any C.O.D. charges that Mercantile Instinct incurs receiving a return will be deducted from the value of the exchange or store credit issued.
HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY
Our 14-day window for returns (see “return policy” above) can be deferred to Dec. 27 - Jan. 9 on any purchases made in the month of December - all other conditions still apply.

Mercantile Instinct ships worldwide.
Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for the processing of shipments.
SHIPPING TO CANADA
A $8 USD shipping charge applies to all orders shipping within Canada.
We ship to Canadian addresses via Canada Post. Delivery in 3-7 business days, with tracking.
Residents of Ontario and other HST-participating provinces and territories are charged HST.
Residents of GST / PST collecting provinces and territories are charged GST / PST.
SHIPPING TO THE UNITED STATES
A $8 USD shipping charge applies to orders shipping to the United States.
We ship to American addresses via UPS. Delivery in 5-10 business days, with tracking.
Canadian sales tax is not charged at checkout. The customer is responsible for any local government & brokerage fees on delivery.
Orders under $ 800 USD usually import into the United States duty and sales tax-free, under the new USMCA “De Minimis” rules.
If your order shipping to the United States will exceed $ 800 USD, please contact us before ordering.
Orders shipping to the United States are final sales.
SHIPPING TO THE EU / UK
A $15 USD shipping charge applies to orders shipping to the EU / UK.
We ship to EU / UK addresses via UPS. Delivery in 5-10 business days, with tracking.
PLEASE NOTE: ORDERS VALUED UNDER €150 / £135 WILL BE DECLARED AS €150 / £135 FOR CUSTOMS & TAX COLLECTION PURPOSES.
As a Canadian business with minimal operations in Europe, we are not registered to collect EU / UK VAT, which is now required of exporters on goods valued under €150 / £135.
Orders valued over €150 / £135 will still import into the EU / UK, with VAT, duties and brokerage fees collected from the customer by customs.

Canada and the European Union have a Free Trade Agreement (CETA), which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into the European Union duty-free. Local sales tax and brokerage fees may still apply, but the duties are waived.

Orders shipping to international destinations cannot exceed $ 2,000 CAD.

SHIPPING TO OTHER INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS
A $15 USD shipping charge applies to orders to other international destinations.

Canada and South Korea have a Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA), which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into South Korea duty-free. Local sales tax and brokerage fees may still apply, but the duties are waived.
Canada and a growing number of other “Pacific Rim” countries (including Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and Singapore) have a Free Trade Agreement (CPTPP) which allows Made-in-Canada goods (most of our inventory) to import into CPTPP member countries duty-free. Local sales tax and brokerage fees may still apply, but the duties are waived.
Many other international destinations have “De Minimis” laws that exempt low-value importations from tax and/or Free Trade Agreements with Canada that lower or eliminate taxes on the import of Canadian-made products. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

SECURITY
Purchases made through Mercantile Instinct's online store are handled by "Stripe" or “PayPal” internet payment processing companies. All personal information is handled by Stripe's secure connection. No personal information shared with Stripe or Mercantile Instinct will be shared, sold or solicited.
